Where am I going?

I was going into a community that was gated.  I had to request entrance and inform the security guard where I was going.  The guard said, “at least you know where you are going.”  I asked if some people don’t know where they are going.  The guard stated, “you would be surprised by how many people drive up and have no clue to where they are going.”  It seemed that the guard was saying more people have no idea where they are going rather than do.

A lot of times you can go somewhere and not know the exact name of the street, or the person’s name, but still know how to get there.  When this happened to me, it made me think about life and I started to wonder:

How am I at noticing what is going on around me?  How do people perceive me?  What can I do to establish the correct knowledge and/or direction?  How can I accept God’s plans while living my life?

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13(NIV)

What do you seek?
