Can you believe what that person did?

This question cast judgment in just asking it. Why?  Because it is comparing you with what the person did.  When we watch the news or hear about someone doing something terrible, we ask this question to someone as if we would never do it.

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.  “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?  How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?  You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.  Matthew 7:1-5(NIV)

In my travels around the world I have come to the conclusion that every man and women are the same in our core being. We are looking for love and acceptance. This value makes us even on the playing field of life.

Do you compare yourself with others?  Do you think you are incapable of doing something others are doing?  How can you stop comparing and lower yourself to help anyone?
