Do you really get it? The ranting post…

I do not want to offend anyone in this post but I do want to write on what I believe is the truth.  Let me know what you think?

Lately I have been hearing how people hate homosexuals or the Bible is an old book that does not work any more.  Both of these views are not correct.  In addition, I hear that people are born homosexual and do not have a choice. I also believe that this is incorrect.

The truth, for me, is that I was born as a heterosexual male.  I have a choice to have sex with a man or a woman, I have a choice to get married or not, I have a choice to hate or to love, I have a choice to be a glutton or simply eat to live, and the list continues.

The point is this, that I have a free choice to sin or to not.  I was born and I have the same issue as everyone reading this.  I am a sinner.  I can choose not to sin, but I will no matter what.  So, everyone that is reading this has and will sin.

The reason is this, it is how God lets us know we need Him.  First, the law (Exodus 20) is the plumb line for showing us we all sin.  Once we realize we sin, we know we are on the same level as everyone else.  No one is above and no one is below.  The person that acts as if they are above someone really does not get it.

If you are a pastor/priest, homeless, worker, homosexual, fat person, drunkard, liar, or just lust or hate someone or something, you are a sinner. We rank sin and then judge.  The only being that has the right to do this is God!

So, what do we do?

First and for most, you need to learn to love everyone!  No matter if they smell or do not believe what you believe!  To love everyone is virtually impossible!  How can we do this?

The way to do it is to let go of everything you are, stop controlling anything, and give everything you are as a being to God!  It is not about you and you do not control anything!!  One of the richest men in the world, Steve Jobs, could not even control his life and he seemed to have everything!

You trying to control anything is futile and the more you hang on to anything the harder life gets.  I see people everyday stressing about such little things, me being one of them, and we are causing ourselves so many issues!

You are born alone and you will die alone.  You need to make a decision on what you are going to believe or not believe in.  The decision is yours alone.  My hope is that you give Jesus Christ your life but whatever your decision is I just hope you give it 100%.

Please know if you make a decision I will respect it!  Please do not just sit on the fence all your life!  Do you want to be hot or cold toward God?
