What is the job of the church?

Remember that YOU are the church, not a building or a place. Therefore, what is your job while on earth?

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.  Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.  (Romans 12:1-2)

We are to offer ourselves daily. Because we are His chosen people, we are to speak of all He is and all He has done.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9)

In Matthew 28:18-19, He tells us>>>>

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Our commission is to share the good news!!

When we choose to be a servant, we give up the right to be I charge. As a result, God uses us for service.
