How can you act?

I always second-guess myself and I have to believe that the disciples did too.  I want to serve God but then I start thinking I can’t, or I’m crazy or not really qualified.  Whenever I see faith in action,  it reminds me that God wants us to take steps of faith and trust Him.

“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” At once they left their nets and followed him.  Mark 1:17-18 (NIV)

Wow, can you image Jesus walking up to you and asking you to follow Him?

This week I got a Facebook message from a freshman in high school who has the desire to give a Bible to everyone he can that does not have a relationship with God.  I can think of a thousand reasons why not to do this, but seeing the faith in a youth rejuvenates me.  Later in the day I received this link and I see that this youth decided to turn his faith into action.

Help this youth with your prayers and support!

Are you willing to support this youth?  Has Jesus come up to you and asked you to follow Him?  Did you leave your net and follow him?  Are you holding onto your net?  How can you step out in faith?
