Do you really believe in God?
This site’s URL is this question. I can say ‘Yes’, but my actions do not always say ‘Yes’. I ask myself all the time if I really believe. As I search the scriptures, I think the question is reflective but the answer is not what I do but what I believe!
How are we saved:
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV)
Where is salvation found:
12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 (NIV)
What do you believe in:
31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” Acts 16:31 (NIV)
The grace of God is what saves you through your faith! This grace is a gift! Salvation is found no where else but through this faith in Jesus Christ!
To believe is an outward action of your faith in Jesus Christ! If your actions of faith do not match your belief I would say that God’s grace is sufficient but I would also say, “STOP IT AND GET IT RIGHT!!”
