God is like a computer programmer. For example, He designed us using a specific code for each and every one of us, meaning we have our own piece of code that is unique to us.
It is through these codes that God has equipped us with the journey we are intended to go on. For example, God has developed me for the IT industry, but I also believe He has equipped me spiritually.
The instructions God writes to us have all been written down, and translated. The instructions God has for us are in the Bible. It is through the Bible that God has equipped us all spiritually.
The Bible is our tool to build a spiritual house, our weapon to fight spiritual warfare, and the instructions to make us great spiritual beings.
The point that is being made here is God has a plan for you, and the plan is great. Not just good, not semi-great, but it’s really a superb plan.
I know I am jumping everywhere, but God really is like a programmer. When you think about it, we are the programs being developed, God is the developer who is proud of His creation, and viruses are Satan’s way of trying to infect the programs (us). God wants to keep all of His creations from being hit by viruses, but it doesn’t always work like that. When you run a program you never know for sure how it will run…
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5 (NIV)
Do you live your life as if God knows you and set you apart? Do you hide because you are not accepted? Do you prepare for being a person that will glorify God?
