So many of us say we cannot do this or that due to our busy schedules. I can tell my kids to clean their room and they say things like I have too much to do, I don’t have time, etc. However, if I ask them if they want to see a movie, watch TV or play a video game, they seem to have all the time in the world. I am not picking on my family because I am the same way.
We can either ignore the fact that we do this or try to figure out why. Something to think about: is it my passion to be lazy? Sometimes, but I think if we figure out what we are in love with, we will have energy beyond control. Why is this?
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Psalm 139:13-18 (NIV)
Did God make us unique? What are your passions? How can you use your passion for God versus yourself?
When I take my passion and offer it to God, it is amazing the energy and focus that I have!Do You Believe?
