How have you been called to serve?
As you know, we all are made to look different. We have different colors of eyes, hair, and skin. We have different talents and strengths. As the body of Christ, we have different jobs so that we can accomplish the mission that God has called each and every one of us to do.
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Mark 16:15
We can support in prayer, in works and deeds, with money, and/or we can physically go. Some have been called to go.
I have a brother that has been serving in a foreign land for over 20 years. I have another brother that serves in his local church by teaching on Sunday mornings, as well as annually leading a small group overseas on mission trips. I have another family member who is not physically able to travel, but prays daily for those going out in the field. I have another family member who supports not only in prayer but also by sending money so others can travel.
They serve the same purpose but in very different ways.
How do you serve? Have you been called to go? Do you serve wherever you are? Think about it.
For we are God’s fellow workers. 1 Corinthians 3:9
