Are you thankful of your friends that have your belief?
It seems the people that you are with all the time can become like family. With family you see everything! The good and the bad! But due to them being family you have a special place in your heart for them. If they have harmed you, this special place can become a burning pain as much as it can be a special loving place due to them being family.
The Apostle Paul wrote the book in the Bible called Philippians which is a letter to express his gratitude and affection for the Philippian church, his strongest supporters in ministry. The following is one of the many statements in this book:
Thanksgiving and Prayer
3 I thank my God every time I remember you. 4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:3-6 (NIV)
The question is, ‘Are you thanking God for your brothers and sisters in the faith?’ Are you willing to step up and let them know? What can you do to encourage your brothers and sisters? Are you willing to forgive?
