Who are we to tell God what to do?
I find myself all the time trying to hurry up God’s plan. I am constantly wanting to know how certain parts of my life are going to work out. As a college student I am always wondering things like:
What will my job really turn out to be?
Who will I marry?
Will I really be able to get through this next semester or will I go nuts?
We can come up with millions of questions for the future, but if our mind is stuck looking forward, what are we missing right now in the present?
[Woe] to those who say, “Let God hurry, let Him hasten his work so we may see it. Let it approach, let the plan of the Holy One of Israel come, so we may know it” Isaiah 5:18-19
Sometime within this next week try to be completely in the present, have no distractions from your day, work, or plans of your future and see what God can do.
