Is it hard to stand up against opposition?

Sometimes I do not believe that we should standup against opposition, but rather kneel in prayer.  If opposition is happening because you may be taking a stand for selfish motives, then I wonder if you should be in opposition with anyone or anything.  However, if your opposition is due to the fact that you are standing up for someone or something, a helpful cause rather than for selfish gain, this is what it should be for.

So my dear brothers and sisters, stand strong. Do not let anything move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your work in the Lord is never wasted.  1 Corinthians 15:58 (NCV)

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”  1 Peter 3:12 (NIV)

Do you stand strong so that no one will move you?  Do you give yourself fully to the work of the Lord?  Do you feel like your work in the Lord is wasted?  God sees you and will bless your prayers!  Run strong in the Lord and seek Him!!
