Are you listing stuff like a house, car, clothes, cell phone, shoes, televisions, etc?
Thought: EVERYTHING belongs to God. He made it all. We are recipients of His generosity and stewards of what He’s placed in our possession.
The 23rd Psalm explains that we shall not want and that our cup overflows…..
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33
What have you done to help someone? Have you given them your time, an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, a bag of groceries, a coat to stay warm, taken them to lunch?
The Lord blesses us and expects us to be good stewards of these blessings?
You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. 2 Corinthians 9:11
How are you going to share God’s generosity today?
