Do you talk to God?

Earlier this month, I drove 8 hours in one day. Eight hours in a car on the expressway gives you plenty of time to think, observe and listen. What was I listening to? Well, the radio and to the Lord. Yes, it was a great time to have a conversation with Him.

Do you ever take the time to talk with Him? OK, I know that we’re all busy especially during this time of year. Did you think that He is never too busy to hear us? He loves us unconditionally and wants us to know that.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Jeremiah 29:11

When you talk with God, do you listen for His reply? Do you have a conversation with Him?

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.”  1 John 5:14-15

Set aside some time everyday to have a conversation with the Lord. You’ll be so thankful for the time well spent. Don’t forget to listen.
