Is Jesus going to return to Earth?

YES!

When I was a child I feel like this was talked about a lot more than it is now.  Maybe it was the time and what the people had dealt with during that generation.

I still hear about it sometimes but not as much.  If you ask others about it, it almost seems as if it is something to worry about rather than something to look forward to.  Topics like Jesus’s return, Hell, Heaven, etc. are topics that seem to promote some kind of accountability or isolation, and therefore, people do not want to deal with it.  I really believe this is so far from the truth.  Take a look at this passage:

Jesus Comforts His Disciples

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.  My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.  John 14:1-3 (NIV) 

If you do not believe in God through your words and actions and have not accepted Christ as a personal savior, then I would think the terms of Jesus coming back could be really problematic.  If you are willing to hand your life over to God, confess that you are just like everyone else, and accept Jesus as a payment for any and all sin that you have done, you will be able to know that your heart does not need to be troubled.  His Grace is free and it is preparing a place for you that nothing can pay for in this world!

Do you let your hearts be troubled?  Do you believe in God?  Do you believe that Jesus is God and He is preparing a place for you to dwell with Him?  Do you believe that He will one day come back and take you home?
