I cannot do that or I will not do that or I will let God do that in me, which one?

The WellThe Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)  John 4:9 (NIV)

The women made it clear that Jesus should not talk to her.  It was due to race and belief.  The key was God was willing to come to earth and cross any possible barrier to show what true love is.  This is missions!  What holds you back?  Money, age, fear, race, belief, qualifications…..

Can God use you?  In the movie ‘Braveheart’, William Wallace said: “Every man dies, not every man really lives.”  Are you living?

This really is a awesome write-up. Thank you so much for taking the time to summarize all this out for all of us. It’s a great help!

  2. I have found for myself that acts of service are the most gratifying form of worship. I love the way James puts it. James 1:27 Real religion, the kind that passes muster before God the Father, is this: Reach out to the homeless and loveless in their plight, and guard against corruption from the godless world.

I recently read some facts about poverty around the world. The most enlightening was the role of injustice. Many in our world are beaten down by the society that they live in and sentenced to a life of poverty simply because of their geographic location. I pray that Americans will not take for granted the blessed life that we have. We must share our wealth and give the poor and oppressed around the world a voice and a “leg up”. “Reach out to the homeless and loveless……guard against corruption.”
