Can others see Jesus in you?
I felt bad that I was running late to church on Sunday, but once I arrived and saw a 2 year old actively worshiping Jesus in the back of the sanctuary I was grateful for my tardiness. She was clapping and dancing to the music. So full of joy!! What a blessing that sight was!!
He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” Mark 10:14
Being young is not a prerequisite for being filled with the joy of the Lord. There’s a retired missionary in his 90s who still teaches Sunday School every week, as well as, having regular speaking engagements. This wonderful gentleman has been leading people all over the world to Jesus for decades and doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19
Showing love for the Lord can be done at any age. In fact, I know several young men in their late teens and early 20s that have a burning fire to spread the Word of the Lord. One, who will soon graduate from High School, has gone on mission trips for years; and another one works for a mission organization training pastors and planning mission trips.
“For we are God’s fellow workers.” 1 Corinthians 3:9
Do you think that you’re too old or not mature enough to share the love of Jesus with others? Do you have that fire inside for missions? Can others see Jesus in you? Let go and let others see Him in you.
