Do you even know what you have?
My daughter got married last year. She invited a friend from Asia to come to her wedding. I know when I go over to Asia I feel like I am in a different world. So many things are different and when I see and hear what is going on I walk in amazement on how God has created so many exciting things.
To date I have never been on the other side to where I hear and see someone coming to your “world” and seeing things for the first time.
While our visitor was here, my family asked her what she would like to see. She said, “the ocean!” I then said, “let’s go!” So we drove 20 minutes and there we were. As she looked at the ocean she started to cry and talked about how God is spoiling her.
You know, I have gone to the ocean a thousand times but when you are with someone that cries when they see it, it opens your eyes to the new world only God has created!
Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 1 Peter 1:8 (NIV)
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Romans 1:20 (NIV)
Do you not believe? Do you see things as old and boring? Have you asked God for new eyes to see and new ears to hear Him? Do you hunger to seek God? Do you think you have excuses on why God is not real? Do you believe that we all come from absolutely nothing? Do you know that God loves you?
