What does a shoebox hold?
So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver” 2 Corinthians 9:7
A shoebox is a simple box made from cardboard. It holds a pair of shoes. However, it can hold much more than that!
Did you know that a shoebox can also be a key that unlocks a child’s heart to learn about Jesus?
Every Christmas, 10s of 1,000s of people from all walks of life turn a simple shoebox into a gift packed with love and filled with necessities that many of us take for granted.
Some of these simple things can be a toothbrush, a spoon, a bowl, a bar of soap, a pair of shoes, a shirt, a coloring book, crayons, and so many more items that we use on a daily basis.
In this season of giving, please take time and give to someone in need. There are millions of children, both at home and abroad, that need you to send them a shoebox of love!
16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Remember that God sent us all the greatest gift.
Have you shared that gift today?
