Do you trust and obey?

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;  Proverbs 3:5 (NIV)

Are you in obedience to the Lord’s will?

Abraham obeyed God. The Lord instructed him to sacrifice his son, Isaac. Abraham did not question God’s will. He built the altar and was ready to take his son’s life. This was true obedience! God spared Isaac and Jesus is a direct descendant.

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,

What a glory He sheds on our way!

While we do His good will, He abides with us still,

And with all who will trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way

To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Yet, O LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand. Isaiah 64:8 (NIV)

Realize that we are the clay and God is the Potter. He has a purpose for each and every one of us. We must be in obedience to His will.
