Do you worship through music?

Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises.  Psalm 47:6 (NIV)

Sing praises to the LORD, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name.  Psalm 30:4 (ESV)

There are many ways to worship the Lord: devotional time, attending church and Sunday school, being a part of a mission group, praying, and through song. As children we are taught songs like, ‘Jesus loves me! This I know, for the Bible tells me so….’ or, “Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world….” Many years later, I still worship God with these songs.

Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him.  Praise the LORD with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.  Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.  Psalm 33:1-3 (NIV)

A wonderful way to worship God is to sing praises to Him.
