Perhaps you’ve heard of the recent widespread power outages in India. The number of people that were affected was larger than the entire population of North and South America combined!!
The impact was astounding. No traffic lights, no trains, no subways, no fans in over 100 degree heat, no refrigeration, etc. The urban areas and businesses came to a complete standstill. The confusion and discomfort was vast!
BJ, who lives in the area, wrote:
“While being without power is inconvenient and challenging, there’s a greater problem than physical darkness and discomfort. The spiritual darkness that engulfs this part of the globe is massive. Each day millions of people grope futilely in darkness, searching for something or someone to worship, something to bring peace. But there’s no peace. There’s only the burden of ritual, the humiliation of vain sacrifice, and the fear of judgment. **Ask the God of Light, in whom there is no shadow, to illuminate hearts.”
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. Psalm 119:105
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. Ephesians 5:8-10 NIVDo You Really Believe? Questions, Share, Email, Facebook
