Have you ever heard the saying…’Only by the grace of God.’?

A couple of week ago, I drove to another state to see family. The drive was uneventful until the last hour when I suddenly found myself caught in a deluge!!! It was raining so hard that the only thing I could see out of my windshield was the brake lights of the car in front of me.

I prayed that those lights were staying straight and true to the road. After a few minutes of driving blind, with faith alone, the rains let up. The lead car and I sped up only to suddenly brake. For the next 4 + miles, we crept along and saw sights you only see in disaster movies or on the news.

There were cars in the ditch and in the median. There were jack-knifed trucks and trucks facing in the wrong direction. There were cubes of crunched up steel which once were cars, vans and SUVs. All in all, there were 53 vehicles involved in wrecks of some kind; but, only by the Grace of God, no one died.
