What is the best Christmas gift of all?

As you open your gifts, does there always seem to be one favorite?  Did you expect it?  Which one was your favorite?   Was it clothes, electronics, books, etc?  For me, I love them all!  It’s fun to be with family and receive gifts; but as you get older, it is more fun to give the gifts and see people’s excitement.

As I reflect on Christmas, I ask myself, “Did any of these gifts save me?” If you compare any present with being saved from a burning home, how would it compare?  It wouldn’t!  The closest comparison for me is the relationship of the people that I have around me.  They love me, support me, and provide for me no matter what happens.

The best part is that God decided to give you and me a gift over 2000 years ago. This gift has impacted our world for all these years. This gift is Jesus.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  John 3:16 (NIV)

Take a moment and receive this gift!

Take a moment and contact someone that is there for you and let them know that their gift of friendship and love is the best!

I pray that God has blessed you and has revealed His love to you and that you have accepted it!  Also, I pray that these holiday times are the best you have ever had!
