When bills are due, when you have to make a presentation, when you don’t know if you’ll be able to keep your home, when your car breaks down, when the roof leaks, when the storm is headed your way……..do any of these things sound familiar? These are fears of the unknown.
Do you worry?
Can you trust that all will be ok?
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27
There is another fear—the fear of the Lord. This is the beginning of all knowledge, because those that fear Him will find wisdom, true light and everlasting peace.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Proverbs 9:10
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7
Who do you trust?
Can you turn your fears of the unknown over to the fear of the Lord?
Love Him with all of your might…trust and obey… then you will have a peace that surpasses all understanding!
