How do you fix problems with others?

truthful, seek revenge, issues, prayedSo many people mess up relationships with their spouse, kids, or friends.  I know I have!  We try to fix it but we know that sometimes it will never be the same.  I have sought the scripture on how to repair these types of issues and I think basically the following scripture is the key on how to repair the problems.

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.  1 Peter 4:8 (NIV)

This nails it down overall.  Now the question is,”What is Love?”.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NIV)

If you apply this love to the one that you have wronged and they still don’t accept you, then you just keep applying this kind of love!  To do this you need to seek Christ for words, actions, and guidance.  He will give you the strength to endure no matter the end result.

Do you have some issues with others?  What have you done?  Have you prayed about it?  Are you patient, kind, not envious, not boasting, not being proud, not dishonoring, or not self-seeking ?  Are you caring for this person?  Do you seek revenge?  Do you anger easily?  Are you being truthful?

Get to it!!
