How do you cope?
Yesterday, I just had to ‘run-away’ for the day. In the past several weeks, we’ve lost two church family members at a young age. I simply needed a change of scenery. So I
headed up the road to a favorite shopping spot. Interestingly enough, I was quickly reminded by a message drawn on a tray, that running away isn’t the answer!!
PRAY & HAVE FAITH!!!
The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:4-6
In another store, I spotted a set of dishes that said, “Pray!! Seek His face!”
So how can anyone cope with tragedy, loss, sadness, and even daily life?
Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
James 5:16
