Where has all of the time gone?

Years ago when my mother was in the hospital, her pastor visited her. While he was ministering to her, he said five simple words, ‘Let go and let God.’

When she told me about the visit and what he said, my thought was, “What does that mean?”

Now, as the years have passed, I understand. In fact, it’s very simple. We all need to step back and quit trying to be in control! We must realize that we are not in charge, God is!

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
