Are you willing to do His will and not yours?

“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”

What of your will are you hanging onto?  Luke 22:42 (NIV)

At one of Jesus’s hardest times in life, He still left it up to God’s will.  I think of how many times that I want God’s will to be mine and I ask Him for it to be my will all of the time.  As I surrender and seek His will, if I want it or not, this is where I can take a step each day in the comfort of God.
