Are you tired of being nice and hospitable?
Why would anyone not want to be nice? How can you not want to be inviting and hospitable?
I know that the standard American comes home from work, goes into their home, and then wants to relax. Most Americans do not want to be with anyone but their immediate family. If someone is in need or wants to just hang out and talk, most people rely on others to take care of this as long as they are not bothered.
8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 1 Peter 4:8-9 (NIV)
Do you like to be alone? Do you not like to have anyone come over? Do you love others deeply and truly? Are you willing to be hospitable? Do you grumble when you have to help others? Do you want to be known for having a home that is open to anyone and offer a place that is loving and kind or do you want to be known for a locked up fortress that no one is allowed in? WWJD?
