What do I do now?

Head Full Of Doubt, Road Full Of PromiseOne time my wife and I had tried to figure out how to deal with a situation with our kids.  We tried everything and we were at a point of not knowing what to do.  As we sat there looking at each other, I remember my wife saying to me that all we can do is pray.  Now that time has passed and I look back, I can see that God answered our prayers and blessed us a thousand times over.

It seems that prayer can be the last thing we do when it really should be the first thing we do.

Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion; to you our vows will be fulfilled.  You who answer prayer, to you all people will come.  When we were overwhelmed by sins, you forgave our transgressions.  Psalm 65:1-3 (NIV)

God is there to listen and save you from yourself.  Are you laying your burdens before God prior to even having them?  Are you truly relying on the Lord?

Stop.  Ask God to forgive you and help you see what He wants you to!  Breathe slowly and listen…
