Do you do it?

Have you wondered if you live in denial?  Do you wonder if you really see how you are?  Do you have anyone in your life that tells you what he or she thinks about you?  When they tell you, do you appreciate it and grow from it? Or do you hate them and not talk with them ever again?  Do you only have people in your life that tell you what you want to hear?

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.  James 1:22 (NIV)

The Bible has so many things, but I hear people justify why they do not need to try to do what it says.  It is interesting how we can do this.

Comments like: “The Bible is old and was written for a different culture!” or “Everyone else is doing it, why can’t I?” or “It should have not been available if they did not want me to take it!” or even “I am entitled to that!”

DO NOT JUST LISTEN TO THE WORD BUT DO WHAT IT SAYS!!
