Are you the strongest person in the world?

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.  2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NIV)

Can God strengthen and protect you?  Can He provide relief from the evil one?  Just because events can be bad, it does not say that God is not doing this?  How can this be?
