Do you need to be involved with an organized Church?
I know some people in this world cannot worship specific religions without causing themselves harm. They either have to hide or not do it at all.
One time I had some visitors at my church that had not been to church in a long time. They live in a place where they are not permitted to worship. When they came out of church they were crying. The entire family! I asked them what was wrong. They said that they have not had this kind of experience in worshiping and lovingly honoring God in this way in a long time!
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV)
How do you feel about your place of worship? Is it worship or is it a place to make you feel good? Do you honor God or do you honor yourself?
