Is the pressure in life too much?
When things are good, we either accept the blessing and share it or take it all for ourselves. When the pressures of life are too much, we either accept the blessing and share it or take it all for ourselves. What I cannot believe is that both situations have the same actions. Weird?
Are pressures like illness, work, too much to do, and is everything else a blessing?
For me, when I have the pressures of life I most likely freak out and panic but sometimes I truly “get it.” Very rarely but when I “get it”, I then can look back at the storm/pressures of my life and see what God was doing in my life.
Faith Under Pressure
Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way. James 1:2-4(MSG)
Wow, this passage is incredible!
Is the pressure of life a sheer gift? Do you prematurely get out of it? Is life a crockpot that you need to jump into and enjoy the simmer? Do you want your faith-life to be maximized?
