Did God tempt you into the sin you have been involved in?
No!
13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. James 1:13-15 (NIV)
The evil is from the desire within. So, how do you deal with this?
22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. James 1:22 (NIV)
I have met people that say they are Christian yet they act nothing like it! In fact I have done this! The key is to totally surrender and trust that God can do it all. How you do this? Ask God to 100% transform you because you will never be able to do it alone!
