How much longer should I wait?

I ponder this question every time I start doing something.  I want to procrastinate but when I start working on a list of activities that needs to be completed I knock the items off my list with an awesome focus.  The problem is getting started on the list or some specific items that I do not want to do.  I can think of a million other things to do rather than focus on what I need to.

What do you think about when you read the following passage?

Then another said, “I’m ready to follow you, Master, but first excuse me while I get things straightened out at home.”  Jesus said, “No procrastination. No backward looks. You can’t put God’s kingdom off till tomorrow. Seize the day.”  Luke 9:61-62 (MSG)

Do you believe that seizing the day is preparing, seeking, or serving toward the Kingdom of God?

What helps you seize the day?  How can you refine this in your life?  How can you help others do this?
