Do you know that God is with you everywhere you go?

Do you know that God is with you everywhere you go?I was amazed at what the leader in the meeting said yesterday.  As long as I’ve known Ms. Evelyn, 40 years, she has been a Sunday School teacher. She stated that she’d never taught the lesson about Moses and the burning bush to children. She went on to say that the five year olds in her class were amazed to learn about how God talked to Moses through a bush that was on fire but did not burn down.

“Now when forty years had passed, an angel appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, in a flame of fire in a bush.  When Moses saw it, he was amazed at the sight, and as he drew near to look, there came the voice of the Lord:  ‘I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob.’ And Moses trembled and did not dare to look.  Then the Lord said to him, ‘Take off the sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.  I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their groaning, and I have come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send you to Egypt.”  Acts 7:30-34

She also told us about how the Kings in Bible times were suppose to copy the books of the law. She felt that if it was important enough for the Kings to do it, then it was also important for her five year old Sunday School class students to do it. She had them all trace the following verse:

“God is with you in everything you do.” Genesis 21:22

What is important to you? Are you reading the Bible? Do you write verses down on paper? Do you share Bible stories with your children?

“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); Romans 10:8
