How can I start a revival in me and in others?

encourage, inventive, spur on, worshipA revival is a restoration to use acceptance, activity, or vigor after a period of obscurity or stillness.

I seem to want to always go and push forward.  When I am with others who seem to always want to cause issues or sit and do nothing, it drives me crazy.  How can I revive myself much less the people around me?  I find myself going at such a pace that I need to stop and realize that I need to be still and pray.  This quiet time is like a ‘refueling of the soul’.  It is my time of stillness. It can even be a period of obscurity.

It amazes me that revival is needed because of the body going into ‘overload’ and stopping.  A revival is a restoring of the body, soul, and mind using acceptance, activity, or vigor after a period of being off.

So let’s do it—full of belief, confident that we’re presentable inside and out. Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching.  Hebrews 10:24-25 (MSG)

Are you being inventive in how you encourage others?  Are you focused on Jesus while showing love and helping out?  Are you avoiding worship or are you spurring each other on?  Are you looking forward to the big Day that is coming?
