It is so easy to get angry with others if they cause you to get frustrated or if they cause any type of harm to you or your family. Also, in today’s world, it seems that if you do nothing about it you could be considered weak or not caring.
If these people that do this to you were truly loved by yourself, do you think it would change the world we live in?
Love for Enemies
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. Matthew 5:43-45 (NIV)
Do you pray for people that persecute you? Are you a child of the Father in heaven? Do you know that if people are good or evil, the same sun and rain fall upon them? Are we all the same sinful people? Do you judge people that are bad and think you are not? How can you make a change in your life to love others?
